Sku EH-10113 Rescue Bag System
The Rescue Bag System is developed in Norway and represents a unique solution for operational protection during cold exposure. The system is designed to maintain functional capacity in cold, wet and demanding environments. The Rescue Bag System is designed to reduce heat loss during the exposure phase and protect operational capacity during waiting, immobilization and transport.
The system comes in two sizes: Adult and Junior .
Description
Description
Robust barrier against cold and moisture
The core of the system is the Rescue Bag – a lightweight and durable thermal bag that establishes an effective barrier against wind, moisture and cold. The bag reduces heat loss immediately when a person is placed in the system.
The material is based on Dyneema® composite and provides extreme strength to weight ratio. up to 15 times stronger than steel. Total weight of the bag is only 1390 grams.
The material is 100% hydrophobic and does not absorb water, blood or body fluids. Liquid remains on the surface and does not penetrate the structure. The system is approved for up to 100 use cycles.
Rescue Bag ensures effective environmental control
The Rescue Bag System is CE approved for medical use (Medical Class I) as a stand-alone product. The system provides environmental control, not medical treatment.
- no sensors on the person
- no temperature regulation aimed at the individual
- no therapeutic function
If necessary, the system can be expanded with an external hot air module (optional accessory), which supplies temperate air to the closed volume in the bag. The heat is supplied to the surroundings around the person, not directly to the body, and helps to stabilize the microclimate over time.
